The art of Kevin Quinn conveys his knowledge and appreciation of nature. Kevin moved to Alaska at age 15, from rural Pennsylvania where he grew up. He is a self taught artist who at an early age was inspired by nature. Kevin spent much of his youth enjoying the outdoors, especially fishing. His childhood drawings consisted of images of deer, bears, and any other wildlife he encountered. Since moving to Alaska his favorite subject has become caribou, the nomad of the north. Caribou have a majestic apperance which make them an icon of the northern lands. In high school he won Best of Show for the 1996 Alaska Junior Duck stamp contest with his pastel painting of a Harlequin duck.

Kevin graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage with a degree in Geomatics. He currently works as a Photogrammetrist for McClintock Land Associates in Eagle River, Alaska.
